oh holiday... celebrate :)

heres the photos from my lovely family holiday in Lanzorote :) this was my little ones first time on the beach and our first sun holiday as a family.. Look at his little face haha... He has never seen sun that bright and he just squinted like a little old man with no teeth :) He loved the beach but we couldnt leave him on the sand for too long, he loved to eat the sand! There was just a sand ring around his little mouth :)

here he is playing with my little brothers bucket and spade... he didnt like the sun in his face very much and we definately didnt like the cold water of the ocean. We took him in really slowly put he clung to me like a little koala bear :)

In the paddling pool :) it was the coolest little pool only up to my shins.. We put him in the floaty ring thingy (dont know the actual name for it! haha) and he could push himself around the pool whilst trying to drink the pool water haha.. eeewwww!

Look at this gorgeous view!! There was a fab little beach right beside our hotel!! It feels like I havent even been away it was only 2 weeks ago! I need another holiday but oh no its back to saving our behinds off and if were lucky well get away next year or the year after! We are so broke after hols but it was so worth it to see my little man's first time on the beach and in the ocean ( even though he just cried and held onto me like a little oranutang haha)

introducing my gorgeous little boy ;)

This is my beautiful baby boy.... When he was about 2 weeks old, look how little he looks! But at the time he was huge and people thought he was two months old... Man it feels like so long ago he was that small... He is nine months now and flying around the place, he looks like the dolls I used to have when I was a child that crawl by themselves, its like hes a little robot :) hes starting to stand up on anything he pull himself up on, including me... He pulled my pj bottoms down this morning. It is so special to watch him grow and learn new things. If you say "Senan are you dancing?" he rocks side to side on his little bum... It is too CUTE!

Here he is in his car seat. I love the red but people kept saying "aaaahhhhh she's gorgeous" I was like "who dresses a girl in blue clothes and a blue blankie" haha.. He doesn't fit in this car sear anymore and thank god coz my wrist was broke carrying him in it :) this was his first soother its white with a little penguin on it.. cuuuute :) you can see a million blankies I took this from the couch while I was trying to catch a few zzzzzzzzzzzz.. Didn't happen though ha baby was huuuuungry ...... I love his feetsie jammies! Theyre white with giraffe print (i think).

Being a mammy is great and I wish I treasured those first few weeks more as I miss them. Its so hard to when youre so tired sore and an emotional wreck. I am making up for it now though, spending every minute with him and treasuring every thing my little fella does. Life is short. Dont get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life :) thats my dahli lama words of the day :)

A little about me :)

Hi All :)
I just want to say hey and tell you a little about me... I'm a lover of fashion, make up and all things glam but most importantly I'm a mammy to a gorgeous amazing little boy named Senan. Senan is an irish gaelic name it means old wise one! You will see pictures of him and you will see how much of a little grandad he is :) He is 9months old and the love of my life. At the moment he is my full time job but I would love a job in the make up industry or doing something in that line of work.

This blog is basically my way of getting into the beauty industry while still staying at home with my son. I simply cannot afford to pay for part time course its crazy money for a course here in Ireland! €5000! I nearly died when I heard! I can't think of anything more to say but I'm sure you will find out more about me :)
